CBA COMPENSATION POLICIES

CBA AND CBC POSITIONS
Position	Compensation
CBA President	52 Free CBC Plays per year and Free Play at all Unit Tournaments (Regional, Unit sectionals and Unit STaC)
CBA Treasurer	$1000 plus 52 Free CBC Plays per year and Free Play at all Unit Tournaments (Regional, Unit sectionals and Unit STaC)
CBC Supplies Coordinator	52 Free CBC Plays per year
CBA Partnership Coordinator	52 Free CBC Plays per year
CBC Technology Coordinator	26 Free CBC Plays per year
CBA Webmaster	26 Free CBC Plays per year
ALERT Editor	52 Free CBC Plays
ALERT Contributor	1 free play per full length article.  Excludes Board Members and Editor.  (10-12 per issue)
CBA-Sanctioned Game Directors (ex-STaC)	$90 up to 5 tables. For 6 or more tables: (4xTable Fee) minus (Rent+Sanction fees) per table. ($15 to $25) for snacks.
CBA-Sanctioned STaC Game Directors	$100  + $5 per table over 10 + up to $25 for snacks.
CBA Sanction Game Standbys	1 Free CBC Play (for future game if service not required)
CBA Sanction Game Lecturer	1 Free CBC Play
Current Board Members	6 CBC free plays - only if not receiving other compensation
CBC Manager	$2400 per year + 26 CBC free plays
Supervised Play Coaches	$8 cash per session, optional, paid from money collected
Suspervised Play Lecturer	$8 cash per session, optional, paid from money collected (usually coaches - no extra)
New Member Free Plays	Membership Committee Budget via Nancy Sachs Fund
OLLI Class Free Plays	Education Committee Budget
Come & Play Supervisor	1 CBC Free Play from Education Committee Budget
Certified Teachers	Reimbursement of certification cost on completion of 2 class sessions in Unit 124 (up to $125)
OLLI Teachers	$100 for each lesson Max $1000 per session, split among participating teachers.  ACBL rebate goes to Unit.
Mentors Playing in CBC Mentor Games	1/2 Price entries for Unit Sanctioned Mentor games.  Also $10 for Mentor pair coupons usable in games at the CBC.
Communication Coordinator	12 CBC Free Plays unless otherwise compensated
0-20 (or less) games	Free use of space (no rent charged for those tables)
CBA TOURNAMENTS
Unit Sanctioned STaC  Chair	Free Play for each STaC session
Sectionals
Tournament Chair	1 Free Play/session
Partnership Chair	1 Free Play/session
Caddies	$35 per session + $10 meal allowance (2 consecutive sessions)
Regional
Tournament Chair	1 Regional Free Play/session and Free Room
Partnership Chair	1 Regional Free Play/session
Hospitality Committee	26 Regional Free Plays split among serving members
Prize Desk Chair	7 Regional Free Plays
Communications Chair	7 Regional Free Plays
Supplies Chair	7 Regional Free Plays to be split among serving members
Standby Player	Plays Free at Regional if Needed/1 CBC Free Play if Not Needed
Set Up/Take Down Chair	2 Regional Free Plays at Tournament
Lecturer	2 Regional Free Plays at Tournament
Caddies	$35 per session + $10 meal allowance (2 consecutive sessions)
Other
Special Services	TBD By Executive Committee case by case.
Preparing duplicated boards	$10 per set for tournaments or Unit sanctioned games (Not for club games).
Notes:
(1) Free plays are not transferable.
(2) If two or more persons share any position, they must work out an appropriate sharing arrangement between them for free plays. Similarly, tournament co-chairs must share all free plays and rooms.
(3) Free plays certificates are valid at any CBC game, and have a value of the cost of a regular club game (currently $7). The additional cost of extra-cost games must be paid by the player.
(4) CBC free plays are ONLY valid for the calendar year in which they are issued. Free play certificates are dated accordingly. Use 'em or lose 'em.  Free Plays issued after 1 October should be valid until the end of the next calendar year (ALERT Free Plays excepted).
(5) Regional free plays are valid only for the duration of that regional.
(6) GNT and NAP D11 Finals do not accept free plays from the Unit.
